Study at Home – 9 comprehensive modules

Whilst it is not possible to learn everything about Birds of Prey and Owls from books we recognise that there are times when it helps to have the option to study a properly structured course at home.

You may want to study purely for personal interest, or as part of a wider course where you will learn the practical aspects elsewhere.

A choice of basic bird management and training courses are available, as well as professional eve courses for bird control.

The team at Raptor Awards are available by email or phone/zoom to help with any queries you may have, and if you successfully complete all parts of the course you will be issued with  ‘Theory Certificate’ to record your achievements.

Please note that Theory Certificates may be presented to any Raptor Approved Provider (listed in this directory) as proof of your knowledge and understanding should you wish to take your studies further with a practical course.

You can study as many or as few modules as you wish, and all modules cover all parts of the national bird of prey curriculum as devised by a panel of renowned Falconers and specialist Raptor Vets.  Read More Here:
