Terms and conditions:

The Directory is administered by Raptor Awards CIC – a community interest company.

This Directory is provided as a resource to the public and to business owners. The directory listings are from members of the IRBPP and Raptor Awards Approved Providers and are intended to enable the public to identify Bird of Prey Professionals who meet higher welfare standards and who submit themselves to quality assurance mechanisms and minimum training standards. More information on IRBPP membership and the Raptor Awards list of Approved Providers can be found on their respective websites. Inclusion on the directory is strictly voluntary.

By applying to be listed in the directory or by using the directory to identify bird of prey related goods and/or services you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

Definitions and Interpretation

In this Agreement the following terms shall have the following meanings:

2. Intellectual Property

2.1          All Content included on the Website, unless contained in Listings, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, sound clips, video clips, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software is the property of Raptor Awards CIC, or our affiliates.  By continuing to use the Website you acknowledge that such material is protected by applicable United Kingdom and International intellectual property and other laws.

2.2          You may not print, reproduce, copy, distribute, store or in any other fashion re-use Content from the Website unless given express written permission to do so by Raptor Awards CIC.  Specifically you agree that:

2.2.1     You will not systematically copy Content from the Website with a view to creating or compiling any form of comprehensive collection, compilation, directory or database unless given express written permission to do so by Raptor Awards CIC;

2.3 By sharing any contribution (including any text, comments, reviews, photographs, graphics, video or audio) with the directory and Raptor Awards CIC you agree to grant, free of charge, permission to use, modify or delete the material posted. Business owner(s) confirm that their contribution is their own original work, is not defamatory and does not infringe any laws and that they have the right to give us permission to use it for the purposes specified above.

2.4 Raptor Awards CIC endeavours to create a world-wide-web experience that is suitable for all ages, and as such, contributors and businesses that are submitted to the business resource directory are not permitted to place information on the site which contains pornography, adult, or mature content. Links to commercial sites that include language, imagery, or other content that is discriminatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise violates community standards of decency will be removed from the Directory.

3. Links to Other Websites

This Website may contain links to other sites including, but not limited to, those of Listed Businesses.  Unless expressly stated, these sites are not under the control of Raptor Awards CIC or that of our affiliates.  We assume no responsibility for the content of such Websites and disclaim liability for any and all forms of loss or damage arising out of the use of them.  The inclusion of a link to another site on this Website does not imply any endorsement of the sites themselves or of those in control of them.

4. Listing on the Website

4.1          When submitting a Listing to the Website you should do so in accordance with the following rules:

4.1.10   Your Listing must be placed into the appropriate category and Raptor Awards CIC reserves the right to change this category should they deem another category to be more appropriate

4.1.11  You agree to only list products /services for bird of prey related commercial services.

4.1.12 If your IRBPP membership is terminated or expires or you are removed from the list of Raptor Awards Approved Providers you will no longer be eligible to list in the Raptor Awards CIC directory and agree to remove your listing(s) forthwith, or have them removed by an editor

4.2          You acknowledge that Raptor Awards CIC or any of its editors may screen, approve (or reject), edit and/or remove any Listing submitted to the Website.

4.3          Raptor Awards CIC may edit your Listing without prior consultation.  In cases of severe breaches of the provisions of sub-Clause 4.1, your Listing may be removed and your Account may be suspended or terminated. 

4.4          In order to submit a Listing, you are required to maintain certain personal details and/or business details.  By continuing to use this Website you represent and warrant that:

4.4.1     any information you submit is accurate and truthful; and

4.4.2     you will keep this information accurate and up-to-date.

4.5          By submitting a Listing you warrant and represent that you are the author of that Listing or that you have acquired all of the appropriate rights and / or permissions to submit it.  Raptor Awards CIC accepts no responsibility or liability for any infringement of third party rights by such Listings or Content.

4.6          Raptor Awards CIC will not be liable in any way or under any circumstances for any loss or damage that you may incur as a result of such Listings, nor for any errors or omissions in Listings.  Use of and reliance upon Listings is entirely at your own risk.

5. Accounts and Listing Fees

5.1          In order to post a Listing on this Website you must have an Account which will contain certain personal details.  You represent and warrant that:

5.1.1     all information you submit is accurate and truthful; and

5.1.2     you will keep this information accurate and up-to-date.

5.3          A Listing Fee may be charged for each Listing you post on this Website.

5.3.1 If you have opted to pay by PayPal your account will be billed at the time at which your listing goes live and monthly or yearly thereafter until cancellation or termination.

5.3.2 If you have opted to pay by invoice failure to pay the invoice will result in the  termination of your Listing.

5.4          Your first listing is free and will be set up on your behalf. It is your responsibility to access your account and edit/amend or add information to your free listing. Subsequent listings may attract a charge. Your first payment will be at the price advertised at the time. Raptor Awards CIC reserve the right to change Listing Fees from time to time and any such changes may affect your recurring payments.

5.4.1    Should an increase in price be necessary you will be notified 30 days prior to your renewal date of such an increase and have the option to cancel your Listing.

5.6          If you terminate a Listing and/or your Account, your Listing(s) will be removed at the end of the paid term unless you request them to be removed sooner.

5.7         Listings which Raptor Awards CIC rejects in accordance with sub-Clause 4.1 shall not be charged for, or in the case that a payment has already been made the monies shall be returned in full.

6. Termination and/or Suspension

6.2          If Raptor Awards CIC terminates or suspends your Account as a result of your breach of these Terms and Conditions you may not be entitled to any refund.

7. Privacy

7.1       Use of the Website is also governed by our ‘Cookie and Privacy Policy’ which is incorporated into these terms and conditions by this reference.

7.2       Save for the screening of Listings, Raptor Awards CIC has neither control over, nor involvement in, any Listed Business and accepts no responsibility for any actions taken, or any goods or services provided, by any Listed Business.

7.3       Whilst every reasonable endeavour has been made to ensure that all information provided on this Website will be accurate and up to date, Raptor Awards CIC makes no warranty or representation that this is the case.  We make no guarantee of any specific results from the use of our services.

7.4 While the information contained within the site is periodically updated, no guarantee is given that the information provided on the Directory web site is correct, complete, and up-to-date. Your connection to any linked site is at your own risk.

8. Availability of the Website and Modifications

8.1      Raptor Awards CIC accepts no liability for any disruption or non-availability of the Website resulting from external causes including, but not limited to, ISP equipment failure, host equipment failure, communications network failure, power failure, natural events, acts of war or legal restrictions and censorship.

8.2      Raptor Awards CIC reserves the right to alter, suspend or discontinue any part (or the whole of) the Website including, but not limited to, the products and/or services available.  These Terms and Conditions shall continue to apply to any modified version of the Website unless it is expressly stated otherwise.
