Raphael Historic Falconry provide high class guest entertainment for wedding events – in historical costume only! Are you getting married at a castle, stately home or other historic venue? Perhaps you would like costumed characters to meet and greet your guests on arrival? Maybe the betrothed would like to walk down the aisle with beautiful hooded falcons upon their fists? In history, there was no greater demonstration of love and devotion than the symbolic gifting of a falcon! While the photographs are being taken, often a lengthy process when many guests wait around without anything to do, we can present our specially written wedding-themed Medieval falconry show entitled “Oh for the Love of Falconry”. Your guests can watch a variety of beautiful birds in dynamic flight within the grounds of your chosen venue, and listen to our enchanting medieval stories about love lost and love found through birds! Please note: we do not offer ring delivery via bird!
