Overview
Education is a vital part of the Centre’s work. We believe teaching people, particularly children, the importance of birds and their habitat is an important part of conservation. Without educating young people about the issues birds and their habitats face, there will be no one to carry on our work and to continue protecting them. To help educate and inspire people we operate a number of courses as well as make visits to schools in addition to our work at the Birds of Prey Centre.
If you would like to study for a formal certificated course in keeping and training Birds of Prey, we are approved Raptor Awards Providers. Please contact us to discuss your needs and ambitions.
