Overview
The Norwegian Falconry Association, Norsk Falkejakt Forbund (2019), is the official representation of falconry in Norway, and is the representative body for Raptor Awards in Norway. We are members of The International Association for Falconry and Conservation of Birds of Prey (IAF). Falconry no longer exists in Norway, but the president of the NFA is experienced in falconry, rehabilitation, avian abatement and Norwegian hunting. The NFA raises public awareness, and to help guide Norwegians who are interested in falconry, culture and the history of falconry in Norway. The NFA provides consulting services on care, rehabilitation and conservation of birds of prey. If you are interested in birds of prey in Norway, or if you would like to learn about this ancient Norwegian hunting tradition please contact us.
